Proposed Participants:

  • U.S.-C.H. Industry Executives + Government Officials + Possible International Participants
  • Major meat companies, industry associations from CMA and AFP
  • CHG: MOARA, SAMR, GACC (Chinese government officials will be invited to sit in like previous years.)
  • USG: USTDA+USDA+FCS etc. (BJ and/or Regional) 

Purpose:

Elevate dialogue between high level executives re: the improvement of meat quality and safety in China
•Influence and Impact- identify areas for further cooperation and collaboration
Facilitate deeper cooperation- this forum serves as a bridge to 8 technical workshops around China and sets priorities for U.S. trips on meat processing, poultry and supply chain etc. 
 

Expected Outcomes:

•Leaders at the meeting serve as an industry advisory committee providing input and guidance for overall U.S. and China animal and animal products cooperation and programs
•Develop and deepen commercial and technical relationships
