(TBC) Food Safety Workshop Series 2018-2019

Purpose/Goals:  
With support from the U.S. Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and China Center of Food and Drug International Exchange (CCFDIE), AFP will coordinate a series of Technical Assistance Training Programs (TA) that are designed to expose Chinese national and local decision-makers to U.S. goods, services and technologies that would be appropriate for supporting Chinese food safety regulations implementation objectives.   
 
Program Overview:  
The workshops will cover a broad range of topics of interest to the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) and AFP, including, but not limited to food and feed safety laws, food safety law implementation, food product supplier qualification and certification procedures, food safety risk analysis and prevention, traceability and food product quality and safety supervision, food product testing methodology, food product recall, and public education on food safety best practices.
Timeframe: 2018-2019 Feb (Possible to extend)
